Editorial Policy
UFC Bet Guide publishes guides, reviews and comparisons about the regulated US online gambling market. This page explains how the content is researched, who writes it, how often it is reviewed, and how to tell us when something is wrong. We treat gambling as a "your money or your life" topic: an error about legality, minimum age or bonus terms can cost a reader real money, so the standards below are not optional.
UFC Bet GuideWhere the facts come from
Every number, legal status, operator name, bonus term and process step on this site is traced to a source before it is published. We rank sources in this order: state gaming regulators and lottery commissions, federal agencies such as the IRS, the operators' own terms and help pages, national responsible-gambling organizations, and established industry press. If a figure cannot be confirmed by one of those sources, it does not appear on the site; we say that it varies by state and operator instead of guessing. We never invent license numbers, regulator approvals, odds, return-to-player percentages, payout speeds or bonus amounts.
Who writes the content
All editorial content is written and maintained by Victor Langham (9 years covering US sports betting; MMA and combat sports betting specialist; has tested UFC markets at FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars). Victor Langham has spent nine years covering US sports betting from the ground up — testing sportsbook apps, stress-testing cashouts, and sitting ringside at UFC events to understand what actually drives the lines. On this site he breaks down MMA betting markets the way he wishes someone had explained them to him: plainly, without the hype, and always pointing you to licensed books. You can read more on the About page. Bylines are shown on every dated article together with the date the page was last updated, so you always know how current the information is.
How often pages are reviewed
Pages that discuss state legality, welcome offers, payment methods or tax rules are reviewed at least every 90 days, and sooner when a state passes a new law, a regulator issues new guidance or an operator changes its terms. When a page is materially updated we refresh the "Updated" date shown under the headline; we do not change dates for cosmetic edits. Older articles that are no longer accurate are corrected or removed rather than left to mislead.
Independence and advertising
Editorial decisions are made independently of any operator. Where the site earns a commission from links or advertising, that relationship never changes a rating, a ranking position or a factual statement. We do not accept payment for favorable coverage, and we do not recommend offshore or unlicensed gambling sites under any circumstances.
Responsible gambling
Every page on this site carries a responsible-gambling notice. Our responsible gambling page lists the national helpline, warning signs, and the deposit-limit and self-exclusion tools offered by regulators. You must be 21 or older to gamble in most US states (18 in some), and gambling is never a way to make money.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, an outdated bonus term or a legality statement that no longer applies, please tell us through the contact page. Include the page URL and, if you can, a link to the source that contradicts our text. Verified corrections are made promptly and the page's updated date is changed accordingly. We would rather fix a mistake quickly than defend it.
